YES! All of that. Plus the Doctor and River apparently developed some kind of romantic relationship between TWoRS and last night’s ep that we never saw (and I’m supposed to feel like it is this…Oh for pity’s sake - it’s been known for at least a couple of series that River and the Doc were married - now, unless he was just after his greencard, one could then surmise that there must have been some degree of romance between them, somewhere in their past futures.
I don’t often post on fandom stuff, but came across this rant while looking to find pics of what JH was wearing in last night’s episode - STILL haven’t found anything to help me out here…needless to say, I’m disappointed to the nth degree people!
- the point is that we aren’t shown the romance. It all happens offscreen. That’s the point we are making. Moffat should show not tell, otherwise we don’t get a strong enough emotional connection to the pairing.
- Moffat said himself that he didn’t consider them actually married, so. Yeah. I mean, the Doctor refers to her as his wife in the finale and River has always remarked upon their marriage, but that’s why I think Moffat has done such a disservice to River/Doctor shippers, because he’s said in interviews that the marriage happened in an alternate thingy to save time and space and that it’s not actually binding. And he’s also said that we should never know what the Doctor feels for River. So Moffat is pretty shitty at supporting his own couple to be honest.
Like seriously.. this is one of the coolest fusions I’ve come across so far.

I love reading this article so much.
Just the way they talk about this new, weird show out called Doctor Who. It just seems so surreal.
Also you just think, no one then knew how big and important this show would be to millions of people. They just thought it was another T.V. show out. They didn’t know that it would end up being the longest running, and most popular, sci-fi T.V. series ever. It’s just kind of awesome to read stuff like this and think about it.
Imagine if all our Likes were organized by the type of posts they were like a section/folder for text posts, photo posts, etc., making it so much easier to find what you’re looking for like how awesome would that be
